For students, parents and teachers

Sometimes I run across web sites I think would be of particular interest to students, parents and teachers. If you have a site you'd like me to consider, please send me a link and I'll go take a look!

I always check with a site owner before posting a link, so if your suggestion doesn't show up, it may be that the site owner declined to be listed. Also, none of these sites pay for being listed.

The links below are, to the best of my knowledge, kid-friendly sites. Parents, please share the web-surfing experience with your children. It's fun, and you can be a gentle guide as to what links you feel are appropriate for your child.

  • Spaghetti Book Club: read illustrated book reviews by kids from coast to coast. This site offers curriculum, training and web publishing services to schools, after-school programs and libraries. Founder and Executive Director: Julie Rosemarin.

  • School Author Visits: find authors and illustrators who do presentations and workshops at schools.
